Startups\/SMEs need ways to accelerate validation, market adoption and growth. On the other hand, traditional companies need to multiply their confidence in innovation by accessing new solutions, business models, etc.<\/p>\n<p>In partnership with the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, we enable collaboration between startups\/SMEs and big companies based in Luxembourg.<\/p>\n\t<h2><strong>Innovation dating description<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Human-Centered Design<\/strong> embraces all industries and sectors. It can be everywhere and it pertains to both the Digital and non-Digital world.<\/p>\n<p>Corporates have well understood that using a human-centred approach to design and development brings substantial economic and social benefits for users and suppliers.<\/p>\n<p>On the one hand, <strong>User Experience (UX)<\/strong> is all about solving problems for users (including research, ideation, prototyping\/design and test phases).<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, <strong>User Interface (UI)<\/strong> is designing visual interfaces for interactive systems (including visual identity, visual design, interactive design and information design).<\/p>\n<p>Taking into account the elements aforementioned, corporates Members classified their challenges in four topics. <strong>Startups\/SMEs&#8217; solutions should demonstrate at least one of the following topics:<\/strong><\/p>\n\t<table border=\"0\" width=\"100%\">\n\t<tr>\n\t\t<td>Analysing users&#8217; needs<br \/>through UX research<\/td>\n\t<\/tr>\n\t<tr>\n\t\t<td><br \/><ul><li>Deep understanding of the users&#8217; needs, expectations, and pain points<\/li><li>Qualitative research (interviews, observation, etc.)<\/li><\/ul><\/td>\n\t<\/tr><\/table>\n\t<table border=\"0\" width=\"100%\">\n\t<tr><td width=\"50%\">Applying UX methodologies to solve<br \/>problems<\/td><\/tr><tr>\n\t\t<td><br \/><ul><li>Co-creation with users<\/li><li>Storyboarding, personae &#038; customer journeys<\/li><li>Prototyping<\/li><li>Making efforts on the user interface design and iterating<\/li><\/ul><\/td>\n\t<\/tr>\n\t<\/table>\n\t\t<table border=\"0\" width=\"100%\">\n\t<tr>\n\t\t<td width=\"50%\">Testing the solutions with real users and<br \/>potential users<\/td>\n\t<\/tr>\n\t<tr>\n\t\t<td><br \/><ul><li>Usability and UX tests<\/li><li>Beta testing<\/li><li>Measuring the UX<\/li><li>Focused group sessions &#038; other co-creation workshops for prototype testing<\/li><\/ul><\/td>\n\t<\/tr>\n\t<\/table>\n\t<table border=\"0\" width=\"100%\">\n\t<tr>\n\t\t<td width=\"50%\">Demonstrating a strong customer-centric<br \/>mindset<\/td>\n\t<\/tr>\n\t<tr>\n\t\t<td><br \/><ul><li>Trainings &#038; sensibilisation sessions to internally raise awareness<\/li><li>Moving from a product-centric approach to a customer-centric approach<\/li><li>Using the UX and Design Thinking approach for internal purposes<\/li><\/ul><\/td>\n\t<\/tr>\n\t<\/table>\n\t<p>Both young and mature startups\/SMEs are welcome to apply.<\/p>\n<p>Early stage startups\/SMEs should, however, already have a developed prototype\/MVP of their solution. She is a Google Dev expert in Product Design and likes to share her passion for her work.
