Startups need ways to accelerate validation, market adoption and growth. On the other hand, traditional companies need to multiply their bets on innovation by accessing new solutions, business models, etc.<\/p>\n<p>In partnership with the actors of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, we enable collaboration between startups from everywhere in the world and big groups based in Luxembourg.<\/p>\n\t<h2><strong>Event format<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>1 theme \/ <strong>10 startups<\/strong> \/ All LOIC members open to co-innovate<\/p>\n<p>The LOIC selects innovative startups that will pitch during the event, followed by an inspiring keynote speaker.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsored by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cargolux.com\"><strong>Cargolux<\/strong><\/a>, the event will take place at the <strong>House of Startups<\/strong> (9 rue du Laboratoire, L-1911 Luxembourg) and all members are invited to join.<\/p>\n\t<p>Projected Schedule:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5.00 p.m.: Participants&#8217; arrival and networking with startups<\/li>\n<li>5.20 p.m.: Introduction speech by Bruno Wozniak (Cargolux)<\/li>\n<li>5.30 p.m.: 1st Pitch session &#8211; 5 startups x 3&#8217;33<\/li>\n<li>6.00 p.m.: Panel discussion with Emilia Tantar &amp; Patrice Caire<\/li>\n<li>6.30 p.m.: 2nd Pitch session &#8211; 5 startups x 3&#8217;33<\/li>\n<li>7.00 p.m.: Cocktail and networking<\/li>\n<li>8.30 p.m.: Event&#8217;s closing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t<h2><strong>Innovation dating description<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;How to create business value with AI?&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the future. It has infiltrated every industry from finance, human resources, telecommunication, and soon the workplace. How exactly will AI affect jobs of the future?<\/p>\n<p>In an attempt to answer this problematic, the LOIC is scouting for startups offering technical solutions in the application of AI methodologies in telecommunication, finance, logistic, energy, IT, industry, insurance and construction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Their solutions should demonstrate their utilities for helping corporates with one of these topics:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Industrial robotics &#8211; manufacturing 4.0<\/li>\n<li>Predictive maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Data driven decision making<\/li>\n<li>Fraud detection<\/li>\n<li>Digitalization of business processes<\/li>\n<li>Evolution of Human Resources<\/li>\n<li>Maximization of customer experiences\/services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Both young and mature startups from all over the world are welcome to apply.<\/p>\n<p>Early stage startups should however already have a developed prototype\/MVP of their solution. They should also be able to provide data on their market validation and have a strong team backing their project.<\/p>\n<p>Startups are committed to pitch in front of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/loic.lu\/?page_id=140\">LOIC members<\/a>\u00a0coming from a wide range of sectors (e.g. finance, insurance, industry, energy, services, etc) and various positions (CEO, HRO, CIO, CTO, CMO).<\/p>\n\t<h2><strong>Offering<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This Innovation Dating is an incredible opportunity for startups to present their solutions to the most innovative Luxembourgish key accounts.<\/p>\n<p>After their pitches, <strong>a booth will be ready for each of them to directly explore business opportunities with Luxembourgish corporates.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t<h2><strong>Deadlines<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Interested startups are encouraged to apply today, and no later than <strong>June 8<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong> \u00a0for a first evaluation of their application.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>June 8<sup>th<\/sup>: Last day to apply<\/li>\n<li>June 13<sup>th<\/sup>: Final selection &#8211; <strong>ONLY 10 STARTUPS WILL BE SELECTED<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>June 28<sup>th<\/sup>: Innovating dating event<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Company: LOIC members Deadline: June 8th The event is sponsored by: What is the LOIC?
