What is the LOIC?
The Luxembourg Open Innovation Club was born in the understanding that big companies and startups need each other. Startups need ways to accelerate validation, market adoption and growth. On the other side, traditional companies need to multiply their bets on innovation by accessing new solutions, business models etc.
In partnership with the actors of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, we enable collaboration between startups from everywhere in the world and big groups based in Luxembourg.
Event format
1 thematic / 10 start-ups / All LOIC members open to co-innovate
The LOIC selects innovative start-ups that will pitch during the event, followed by an inspiring keynote speaker. The event takes place at one of the members’ location and all members are invited to join.
Projected Schedule:
- 5pm: Participants’ arrival and networking with start-ups
- 5:30pm: 1st Pitch session – 5 start-ups x 5’
- 6pm: Expert intervention or round table
- 6:30pm: 2nd Pitch session – 5 start-ups x 5’
- 7pm: Cocktail and networking
- 8pm: Event’s closing
The event will take place at the Banque de Luxembourg (14 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg).
Innovation dating description
We are looking for start-ups that are developing technological solutions (platforms / applications / devices) in the field of Artificial Intelligence & Robotic Process Automation.
Some examples are solutions that allow corporates to:
- Improve employee and customer satisfaction
- Deliver greater efficiency
- Reduce operating costs & security risks & runtime
- Accelerate productivity gains
- Eliminate time wasted in routine and manual tasks
- Enhance compliance
Both young and mature start-ups from all over the world are welcome to apply.
Early stage start-ups should however already have a developed prototype/MVP of their solution. They should also be able to provide data on their market validation and have a strong team backing their project.
Start-ups are committed to pitch in front of LOIC members coming from a wide range of sectors (e.g. finance, insurance, industry, energy, food, services, etc) and various positions (CEO, HRO, CIO, CTO, CMO).
Offering
This Innovation Dating is an incredible opportunity for start-ups to present their solutions to the most innovative Luxembourgish key accounts. After their pitches, they will have the chance to directly explore business outlets with them.
Deadlines
Interested start-ups are encouraged to apply today, and no later than September 6th.
