The Luxembourg Open Innovation Club is an initiative dedicated to the development of business relations between large accounts, intermediate-sized enterprises and innovative startups through open innovation.
Innovation cannot be made up: it comes alive through collaborations, exchanges, idea sharing and relationships.
The objective of open innovation is to connect companies to their environment to access new ideas, external competencies and potential sources of growth. Open Innovation calls for innovations development based on the meetings of talents from different industries and with different backgrounds. Such an approach fosters the construction of an environment and conditions that will create common value.
Open innovation stands for an innovation strategy that balances internal R&D and external input, coming from startups, university, clients, providers or even competitors.
What are the objectives of the club?
- Animate the community of innovation in Luxembourg
- Facilitate the partnership between startups and large accounts
- Create a structure dedicated to exchanges and expertise on open innovation
- Guide the digital transformation of large accounts
Who is it for?
The club is open to large accounts and intermediate-sized enterprises willing to develop business relationships with startups in an open innovation perspective.
What are its activities?
Our workshops are the perfect occasion to exchange and brainstorm between members around topics about open innovation and transformation of internal organisations that result from it.
Club members define a cross-sector thematic of common interest for each event and the LOIC scouts for startups close enough to the local ecosystem.
Startups pitch in front of the audience, then club members exchange directly with the startups and explore business opportunities.
Tailor-made meetups, several times a year between a company and startups selected based on the company's specifications. These meetings are confidential and organised upon each member's will.
The Luxembourg Open Innovation Club is enriched by the leading Luxembourgish incubators who open their networks to LOIC Members:
